I have trouble sleeping so I usually watch the west coast games, specifically the Sharks because I think their commentators are some of the best.

Anyway, when watching them I came away impressed at their penalty kill. They do a box, but the guy closest to the puck plays man on man (until it gets out of “his zone”) putting pressure on the puck carrier. I didn’t realize they had the 4th best PK in the league.

I’d like to see us employ that type of PK, similar to the Hurricanes as well.
