So Stars with a 3-point lead on Vegas.

One of the Stars final 9 games is against Vegas. Need to seal the deal before then

I believe Dallas' magic number is 14.

Dallas plays 6 games before the Vegas game. Their season average and last 10 average would put them at picking up 7 to 8 points in those games so let's just say 7 points.

Vegas plays 5 games before they face Dallas. Their season average and last 10 average would put them at leaving about 3 to 4 points on the table. So again, let's be conservative and say they only leave 3 points on the table.

If it plays out that way, Dallas' magic number would be 4 at the start of the home game against Vegas, and a regulation win by Dallas would punch their ticket to the post-season. It wouldn't eliminate Vegas because of what's going on with LA though.

Didn’t watch the game, but saw highlights. Seemed like a solid win? But highlights don’t always tell the whole story. Did Wedgewood just save their tails, or was it an overall great game by the Stars?

Overall a very good game. The Stars 100% were the better team in this one and deserved the win

Entertaining as well tbh, the crowd was very engaged in that third period (especially the final minute lol). Felt like a playoff game until the very end

Wedgewood looking good. Reasonable chance he's playing himself into a backup role for next year here. Would honestly be ideal. He's likely to be pretty cheap and every position the Stars don't have to out and spend a ton but still get quality helps. 2x$1m or something like that sounds fair to me.
