I fully expect to hear at some point, "X hasn't scored a goal in the past 24 games" or "X is making his professional debut" followed by "X scores his first goal!" or "X finally gets on the score sheet!"

Seems to always happen against bottom feeders.

Guys, chill. This isn't your typical bad team. It's an epically bad team, in the stretch run towards getting a top 2 draft pick. It's as close to a guaranteed win as you can get in sports. Wings have been looking pretty solid for the last few games, I don't think they will lay the kind of egg they would need to in order to lose.

Basically it's more a question of how we will win. 2-1 with a lazy effort would be disappointing. I'd like a convincing 4+ goal win, give some guys confidence and have a good defensive effort.

How many guys would be Phoenix's 1C in our lineup tonight? Zetterberg, Helm, Sheahan seem like locks, then you could argue Glendening... I would be tempted to put out Nyquist at 1C before Chipchura... Franzen, Datsyuk, and even Weiss all out, too. Even Andersson could make a run.

Clear tank job here. I don't see any way we lose this game.
