Bergy has been faceoffs and defense only for a while now. When was the last time he buried one?
Probably playing through something, but the absence of his offense hurts.
Except for the 4th line, our forwards had ZERO presence around the Washington net.
Everything was from the perimeter, and most of it was low-quality or got blocked.
What a terrible effort.

Welp, that sucked.

I would like to have the time back that I invested in watching that game. Needed to get the puck deep and press with the goalie pulled and instead we are trying to dangle our way into the zone. PP was awful. Excessive passing against a collapsed defense with sticks in the passing lanes. Blocked and cleared. Lather, rinse, repeat.

No Pasta or Lindholm, Grz got knocked out early and the PP was awful. Still had a chance to win it, but just couldn't find a way to make it happen

That game could have gone on for 3 more periods and the Bruins were not scoring. It was just that type of feel today
