Aaron Rome back in. Kevin Connauton out for Stars. Lindy Ruff said he likes Rome's physical play and defending.

Tank.

The sad part is that Connauton's physical game is being overlooked here. He's been throwing the body more than anybody else on the back end. Can't wait for the massive turnover this atrocious defense sees this summer.

I don't like Rome, but I also think Connauton is dumb as a bag of rocks.

I'm predicting a revenge blowout.

7-0 stars.

I can understand having vets in the lineup at such a dire time, but Rome hasn't been good. He made an error that lead to a goal and got his face beat in. Connauton has upside and hasn't been a complete liability.

Rome..oh man I don't get it..

Anyway, I also predict a Stars blowout. Lots of smiles on the players faces while Benn and Seguin rack up multi-point games along with some depth guys scoring a couple goals.

Here starts the mad dash to the #8 spot. It's OURS.

Rome is bad. KC isn't much better. It's crazy how much slack KC gets b/c he's young. Maybe I'm as blind as Ruff, but I like physical defensemen, even if they blow a defensive coverage (not unlike KC is capable of doing).

Caveat, the fight by Rome was ridiculous however.

Rome hasn't been very physical at all this season. Hopefully he starts crushing people in tonight's game.

Getting embarrassed in a fight after giving up an odd man rush the other way that lead to the opening goal = PHYSICAL!!!

Also, there's way too many blow out predictions in this thread. I just want two points in regulation plz.

This. If he's going to play, he really needs to show this side of his game. Think he's been a little cautious due to injury problems this year. Would also be nice if he could use his stick to break up plays and block shots like he has in the past. When he's on with that, his defensive play reminds me of Souray-lite

Rome and KC are just as physical. Where did this idea come from that Rome is a big hitter? Because he's large?

Not being "much better" is still better. KC has much more upside than Rome.
