That's my problem with the current evil genius plan by MB. He signed a bunch of borderline 30 yo guys to long contracts and by the time our current kids and our draft picks will be ready those contracts will be a burden to the team. Also trading one of our two 1st for a deluxe 3rd line center was dumb. Like the player but he's not a good fit for this team.

I mean, Toffoli and Hoffman will be out of a contract by then. Gallagher done. Anderson is not even that good. Drouin gone.

And no one to take their spots really. So, we really just need BPA because we don't have one stud prospect in the pool currently
