Greene, Braun, Hainsey, Demelo etc are more likely targets. Even signing McQuaid if he's healthy.

I'm not a fan of bringing in top 4 d at premium prices in lieu of developing them and seeing which one matures the best. Half the top dmen in the league seemingly came out of nowhere.

I think it is literally impossible to give all five the minutes they would need to develop and we still have defensemen behind this group who will need their chance after this season. So, I am not against picking the two or three we have the most confidence in and trading another for a more veteran option right now.
