Expecting an extremely physical, chippy game.

Hope we can escape any injuries from happening, and hopefully we come out with a lot of energy. Can't take this game lightly. Need this win.

Let's go Blues! This is a winnable road game, but Columbus is no longer the door mat that they have been in the past. This is going to be a very good game. They played us hard quite a few times last year. I'm excited to see how the team looks after a couple of days off!

Considering that we are coming off a few days rest, have had a few team practices and haven't had a road performance to speak of yet this season... I have pretty high expectations in terms of performance.

Also, Tarasenko going against his SKA teammate, Sergei Bobrovsky.

There's no excuse not to come out flying tonight. Hopefully Atkinson and Dorsett don't play like they usually do against the Blues.

Wonder what JD's emotions will be for this one.

Forced out by ownership just as the team he helped build from the ground up is finally an NHL power.

Why is Elliott playing? Gave up 4 goals last game, ah well

I always get nervous when we play the Jackets.. no idea why considering how bad they are

Same

I think its because of how bad they are and the Blues tendency to play down to their opponents. That being said I think with their questionable goaltending this could be a game where Tarasenko and Perron really shine.

Bob's been really solid for them. Regardless... Tarasenko hat trick, comin' up!

Oh Bob is starting could have sworn I heard Mason was getting the start tonight. Either way Bob has had a shaky past aswell hopefully we can pop a few in on him.

Ells with a rebound game tonight. 14 save shutout. Thread pops up on main board attacking the Blues for being boring.

about last summer.
Atkinson and Calvert (I think) are on IR. Nikitin and Aucoin both got hurt at Minnesota on Tuesday. CBJ called up JAM (Audy-Marchessault - no there aren't 4 guys on the third line below) and Erixon. Good chance for completely new D pairs on the CBJ side of things. Also please ignore any 1st, 2nd, 3rd line designations, the lines below aren't used in that fashion.

From our GDT (but note that the D pairs are not clear):

Umberger-Anisimov-Dorsett
Foligno-Johansen-Prospal
Audy-Marchessault-Dubinsky-Brassard
MacKenzie-Letestu-Boll

Johnson-Wisniewski
Tyutin-Erixon
Moore-Savard

Bobrovsky
Mason

All I'm expecting is a violent game since that seems to be the way they have gone since "soccer-ball gate".

Columbus looks better than last season, but not a playoff team. They may still finish toward the bottom of the conference since the division is so tough, and the way the schedule works this year.....but I think games against them will not be easy.

That said, I think after the practices this week, the team will look much sharper tonight and should win by a couple goals.

about last summer.
Ok, since I posted the line-up I read this article: http://bluejackets.nhl.com/club/blogpost.htm?id=13518 in which it says:
Richards was encouraged by reports from Springfield's coaching staff who raved about Audy-Marchessault's improved consistency, and is going to pair him with a familiar line mate in Ryan Johansen when the puck drops tonight. The two played a lot together during their time with the Falcons, and Richards said their chemistry was a factor in his decision.
so the forward lines are shuffled from what I said earlier.

Richards also chewed out the team a bit in Minnesota so I'm expected more energy tonight.
