I don’t think the streak adds any pressure. If anything it takes off pressure knowing they’ve played so well. Everyone knows it has to end. Easy to accept in my view.

This is about as scheduled loss as it gets. Streak will also add pressure and Pitt is desperate.

Bruins have gotten away with some sloppy shifts and missed oppurtunities the last few games which won't bode well against the Pens

There is more pressure on the Pens as they desperately need points to stay in the playoff hunt and I'm sure they would like nothing better than to end the B's winning streak

Having said that, the B's usually play well against ****sburgh, so if they bring their "A" game and can cash in posts & crossbars for some goals...

Hope they make it an even 20 and then lose. It's important that they not lose sight of the real goal. A few years back when they had the huge win streak during the regular season, I felt it hurt them in playoffs. Too much physical and mental energy was expended trying to keep up the streak.

What's wrong with having Halak in net? His save percentage is .924 this season. Rask might be a little bit hotter right now but it's not like Halak is your average backup goalie.

They already said it was gonna be most likely 9-8 in the final 17. They aren't gonna mindlessly overwork Rask who has much better numbers <45 starts than over.
