Suter is not an nhl d man anymore. The guy blows. I cannot believe we signed him for 4 years.

Embarrassing effort. How do you give a team that many breakaways, let alone Seattle??

Hopefully this is a wake up call. Unfortunate loss.

Yeah that's a really bad loss. Let's hope it doesn't trigger a losing streak

This season is gonna come down to that Vegas vs Dallas game on April 26th isn't it?

Also have to look who is chasing the Stars at this point- lose to NYI and Leafs and they could be chasing both Winnipeg and Vancouver as well- just have to make it difficult all the time! Games in hand mean nothing when consistently losing to the worst teams in the league.

On the bright side, the Stars only have 4 road games left. Vegas has 6.

On the downside, the Stars really struggle or are very unpredictable against a lot of their upcoming teams. Toronto, Tampa, Minnesota, Vancouver, Islanders, Edmonton, etc.

What a battle though, Stars have won 6 of their last 8 and still can't get into a wildcard spot because Vegas has won 5 straight and 7 of their last 9. They're getting healthy too, they have Lehner back now.

The Stars have a compressed schedule and are going to be done burning up these magical games in hand over the next two weeks.

Yep. This loss, like many others to shite teams, will cost the Stars.

Yes, last night shows the downside of games in hand....you have to play so many so quickly you are going to have some tired players. Wedgewood looks like he will help Otter. Miro ought to be pretty well rested. We can rotate out a bunch of 3-4 line forwards to keep them fresh (and hopefully win games big so we can rest our top 2 lines) but we still have to deal with a bunch of older top six forwards in Pavs, Benn, Seguin, and even Rads.

Playing tired is what has me worried the most about their playoff chances.
