It looks like a major problem for Detroit is they don't have a starting goalie putting up starting goalie-type numbers.

We aren't much better. Detroit is still re-building, much like us, but I think a year ahead.

Guys, the Cooley and Guenther show is pretty good! There was a play where Guenther came down the left wing so quickly ( and got the shot off) that the cameras barely kept up. The replay revealed some amazing cross over steps on his way in! The man can skate!!

ok, question -
is Cooley on a trajectory to
1) Be more important to the team than Keller within one or 2 yrs?
2) Is Cooley the C next year ?

1) Ask me again next year, and 2) noooooooooooooo. But Bjugstad might be.

Can not say enough good things about Bjugstad. What a great vet to have on the squad.

Agreed. I've become a big fan of his since he's been here.

What is Car Cone referencing there with the "Can you say taker(?)?"

I thought he said, "Tanker."

I think this will need to improve first...

Scoring has dipped below what was above sustainable averages (this season) as well.

Meh, it’s become a developmental league and now a developmental season (for us), for certain.
Glad they’re getting reps/experience.
When you're ready, you're ready. It's not that unusual that the top ten in the draft make the NHL roster D1 or D2.
