Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Dallas catches a small break not having to face the Russian:

Mike Heika ‏@MikeHeika

Looks like Tim Thomas vs. Curtis McElhinney in goal tonight in Dallas. McElhinney's last start was Jan. 28. He mopped up Thursday.

Please can we not have a backup show up and steal the show or worse throw 40 distance shots on net with no net pressure and make him look amazing?

I remain guarded, but not jaded. It does feel like we're going to end the drought this year.

about last summer.
CBJ lines are different than last week. After they got their collective butts kicked in Chicago (6-1) and looked really bad while it happened, all the forward lines were shuffled.

Calvert - Dubinsky - Horton
Foligno - Johansen - Jenner
Umberger - Anisimov - Tropp
Comeau - MacKenzie - Letestu

D pairs from the Nashville game on Saturday

Johnson - Savard
Wisniewski - Prout
Schultz - Goloubef

Nikitin got rocked during the Chicago game, he might be a game time decision.

Haven't posted here in a while, but I'll be at the game tonight. Definitely looking forward to it - first game of the "new era" I'll get to see.

Hate to see Kari out, but at the same time I'm excited to see Timmy Thomas play.
