The actual value of having Zucker for 75% of a season...

"Zucker has helped me so much...he's been a huge help for me...he's definitely going to be one of my best friends for life here." - Cooley

Schmaltz called Bjugstad "Daddy" :)

Jarry = Murray?

Just one penalty in this game...2 games in a row w good discipline in this space.
Shows that fans of NHL teams don't have a clue.

Detroit really needed to beat the lowly Coyotes. It would be great if they missed the playoffs because of us. :nod:

The Buhlin wall was something eh? I was a new Coyotes fan… I think I under appreciated how good he was

Weird, I read on F40 that the team had no leadership.

Sorry yes, the OTHER Pittsburgh goalie who was young and talked about like he was the saviour of the franchise.

Don't know what /= means, but assume you're saying a leader can't be, or isn't a friend?
It means does not equate. =/= means the left side of the expression is not equal to the right side. So Leadership does not equal friendship and Friendship does not equal leadership. Basically just because x is a thing doesn't mean y is.

One thing I've noticed with Crouse of late is he tries to get the puck off his stick too quickly. I realize he's playing with guys who are great stickhandlers like Maccelli and Cooley/Guenther, but if the puck comes to you, you can't immediately flick it off to someone else so quickly that whoever is defending you or supposed to be defending you doesn't even have to react to Crouse having the puck because they can immediately change it up to cover whoever Crouse has already passed it to.

It's basically granting the defense a reprieve from their lapsed coverage because he's not skating with the puck and throwing the advantage gained right out the window. He's probably lacking in confidence now hence why he's deferring, but it lets his teammates breakfree that tiny bit if he can draw the extra defender because he's been left open with the puck.
