Boston, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, March 4, that forward Brett Connolly will miss six weeks due to a displaced fracture in his right index finger. The injury occurred during the Bruins practice on Wednesday, March 4.

I'll be traveling to Boston for the weekend games, so if someone could pick up the Sat & Sun GDTs, I'd appreciate it!

Sad that we pretty much don't get to see Connelly this year.

Excited to finally, almost have a game (got kinda excited and realized its a day early).

Bruins need to get out ahead early but this time hold onto the lead because lord knows if it comes to a shootout we aren't going to win even if it goes 20 rounds.

Any word on whether Campbell is ready yet (is it mean if I hope he isn't ready for at least another week)?

bummer, was hardly viewing this move as a blockbuster that would shift the power in the East but I`d be lying if I wasn`t a bit anxious to see him play

I'm hoping for the playoffs.

His youth might help with the finger but I'm not sure how much Julien would use him in the playoffs without ever playing a regular season game.

Bonus is he will have plenty of time to watch and learn the system for next season (or playoffs if things work out).
