Should be a good one unless the officiating ruins it.
Watched the Sabres/Pens last night. If you're just going to stand there with a whistle and never call penalties then get off the freakin' ice.
Horrible officiating.

I will have to assume they play Jake?
Do we have enough bodies on the trip incase they last minute safety scratch him?

while we are at it. no way foligno should be in there ahead of blidh going forward.
not gonna dig up the exact numbers, but Blidh-Nosek-Lazar this year have basically had a 40/60 shot attempt ratio, ie they are giving up a lot more attempts than they are creating.

Foligno-Nosek-Lazar on the other hand have basically had a 60/40 shot attempt ratio, ie the opposite results and that line still gets a lot of D-zone starts so having positive possession stats is pretty good...means they are getting it out of the zone pretty regularly (even if last game they had a rough one).

I know people don't want to believe it, but Foligno has been a boost to that line.

pretty surprised they aren't sitting Jake. Makes me think there's no traction on moving him. Plus you'd think if he was part of a deal for Lindholm then Jake would be sitting too.

I'm glad Sweeney waited this out because it definitely helped his value, but I don't feel super comfortable going into the playoffs with a guy who wants out playing on the top line. He has been a good soldier this year, but the playoffs really test your will to win and you want guys who are all-in.
