Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Is that from some terrible commercial he did or something?

Yes, him and Derek Holland just did these commercials for 5 pizza? That are so bad there good, the out takes of the commercial are really good. Holland muttering "I hope Modano screwed up this many times" was pretty funny

Let's go STARS!

Jackets looked strong in beating the Leafs in their own barn last night, and both teams flew in after their respective games.

Got a good feeling about this one, here's hoping we keep pushing and get those two points. :yo:

Need to get a point ... I saw Modo's math about true .500 (wins and all losses), but I'd feel much more comfortable getting 5 out of 8 from here on out .... I know Lindy recently said 6 of 8 though which I feel is a good goal but maybe not a requirement.

Time for Ellis to stand tall like he did in Anaheim. Who the hell would have called this in the summer ... Dallas and Columbus both desperate for a win fighting for their playoff lives.

In honor of Jesse Pinkman ... Parity B******!

Hey, I'd be cool with a 5-3 record as well. But 6-2 would be so much better. :yo:

Columbus is missing a couple of their top defenders who were recently injured.. Fedor Tyutin and Ryan Murray.

Could be a good oppurtunity to take advantage of a banged up and tired team. Dallas has skated pretty well in these back to back games this year, and gotten points out of them as often as not. Here's hoping for a good performance and another win.

Vancouver and the like will start really feeling the heat if we keep stringing these wins together.

Welp ... Mueller recall is more than just precautionary:

Mike Heika ‏@MikeHeika

Rich Peverley will miss Tuesday's game at Columbus with an upper body injury. Chris Mueller has been recalled.

That website is only based on media reports, and they are likely using Mark Stepneski's tweet from yesterday morning saying if Kari is going tonight (last night) expect Ellis tomorrow.

I doubt we know anything until this evening.

Why? He looked good last night and is being showcased.

Recent history.

On Saturday Chiasson looked great with Cole and Eakin, and he was back with Whitney and Horcoff to start the next game.

Ruff seems to shake the lines when needed, but he typically goes back to what he started with the following game.

Now ... if they really are showcasing him ... that's different. Yesterday was about jump starting the team though.
