Leafs looking good small criticism at the end kinda bad decision by Knies at the end there screening the goalie on a low % backhand chance by Nylander rather than getting the stick down for a shot pass. Needs to enroll in Hymans school of garbage collection in the off-season.

They only allowed one shot on goal. Defence has not been the problem again. We simply find it so hard to score. Swayman is either good or really lucky.
He hasn't had to wor too hard. We're being kept to the outside

I like how Nylander took a backhand towards the net then slowly circled around instead of going directly to the net. Maybe this is why he has 0 points in 2 games. Hell, even Liljegren decided to go to the net

How many actual scoring chances did the Leafs have? Other than that last play everything was pretty easy for Swayman

Gotta get the puck up against him. He's completely eliminated any areas low.
Yup. I'm not sure why they don't just keep going blocker side.

Maybe Boston D plays that better than we realize and forces shots to his glove side.

Biggest thing to me then is they need to be moving the puck side to side quickly and put the freaking puck on net for rebounds. Even from a spot that isn't the greatest but just to create havoc.

No he hasnt
You haven’t been watching the game

He’s been going into corners, he’s been back checking hard, he’s been blocking shots. He’s just been ineffective in the ozone for the most part, and when he does something Edmundson misses the net or Tavares bobbled the puck

We really lack shooters and a dman that can consistently get pucks through

Bruins didn't have a single 5 on 5 shot on net the period. It was the floater from DeBrusk on the PK. They had chances, but all blocked/wide.

I find Boston is always so quick to jump on any potential dangerous turnovers before it fully becomes a chance for us. So often it looks like Marner picked one off or something and the Bruins recover pretty much immediately.
