That same article also helpfully notes that the Stars have had some trouble against us lately:
- General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has reassigned forwards Nick Caamano and Joel L'Esperance to the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
- The club also recalled forward Denis Gurianov from Texas.
- Caamano, 21, registered one goal (1-0=1), six shots on goal, 10 hits and an average time on ice of 11:00 in six games with Dallas. Caamano made his NHL debut on Oct. 5 at St. Louis, posting one hit in 11:18 of ice time.
- L'Esperance, 24, recorded one goal (1-0=1), two shots on goal and an average time on ice of 7:21 in three games with Dallas in 2019-20. He has also skated in one AHL game with Texas this season.
- Gurianov, 22, has recorded five shots on goal and a +2 plus/minus rating in three NHL games with Dallas during the 2019-20 campaign. The forward has also logged three goals (3-0=3) and a +2 rating in two AHL games with Texas this season.
- Dallas is riding a seven-game winless skid (0-5-2) against Columbus, which is the team's longest active winless streak vs. one opponent.
- The Stars are looking to record a win vs. the Blue Jackets for the first time since Dec. 15, 2015 (W, 5-1 at American Airlines Center).
- The Stars are looking to snap a four-game winless streak (0-2-2) at Nationwide Arena, which is the team's second-longest active road winless streak vs. one opponent (longest: 0-6-0 vs. Anaheim at Honda Center).
