There's a lot more fluidity in the Blues structure than they had under Hitchcock. Gives a bit more freedom for creativity and instinctive play, but it can sure lead to some pretty interesting situations, especially if the team is hemmed into their own zone for awhile.

Jake isn't going to feel good about giving up that goal. It was a nice play by Johnson to give the shot a chance, but Allen would be the first to tell you he would expect to stop that shot.

It wasn't HIS fault. it was the fault of the defenceman who let the goal score stand a few inches from the goal line and tip it in or help screen so it could deflect in. It was just lucky that the puck was not obstructed, and traveled straight through towards the goal, without Allen seeing its trajectory.
