Unfortunately whenever McDrai are together they end up trading high danger chances with the other team while the rest of our lines get caved 5v5. Not a recipe for long-term success

But McDavid and Draisaitl are happy cause they can play with each other.

I have no idea what propelled the McDrai switch. I fail to see what's the upside.

It might be a combination that they want to get going just so it's an option in the playoffs. They've played a lot together in the past but you have to keep it up.

I think it’s more to do with giving Ceci a chance to pull himself together as he’s been making errors at a higher rate lately.
