Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

Good to have Stars hockey back ...

The Olympics were nice, but all I wanted was this to get going.

Can't even remember the last time I watched a Carolina game that wasn't against Dallas.

They're on tonight against Buffalo in that make up game that I believe was snowed out.

Back at it.. Gotta start with a impressive home win in this one.. Three games in Dallas hopefully will kick start the push and get the team rolling onto the right direction.

Hey, it's Radek Dvorak. Watch him dress and score 2 goals or something insane.

Dallas
going to go to the game a little early. They are going to have the Sochi medals out on display around section 113.

Let's GDT the Buff/Carolina game. Quite possibly the most important single game of the season.

Steve Ott has a sub-Ryan Garbutt PPG. What contender will pay dearly to add such a crucial piece to their Cup aspirations? How could Buffalo bear to part with their remaining co-Captain?

Don't these teams actually have some kind of rivalry? Or used to?

Miller looking sharp early. Skinner stopped on a partial breakaway. Gotta be some scouts there for him (and Moulson).

Buffalo has at least 4 or 5 players who should be in the AHL. This roster has to be one of the more transparent tank jobs in recent memory.
