Sigh... I'm missing this game, and I have a feeling it'll be a good one. But there's a good chance I'll be going to the game at Sunrise tomorrow!

Pro tip: whatever you do, don't buy a good seat tomorrow. :D

To win, Habs have to be focused and ready to go full blast 100% for 60 minutes. Tampa can beat us at 80% effort, so look out.

I'm considering buying them from a scalper at the last minute. Right now, online resale sites are still selling 'em from $38ish, which is their premium price for Habs games. Buffalo tickets start at $11, Carolina at $8.

Lshap - that hasn't been the case the last two games against the Bolts.
We play them well, that's usually true. But in the end, we usually lose because we can't convert the flurry of chances we get into goals. And that's been the team's main problem for years -- a thousand shots that almost go in, but don't. At some point, you have to acknowledge that it's not the other goalie and it's not bad luck, we just don't have the skill.

What if you buy the lowest ticket at the wicket? You can pretty much slide down to the lower seats.

Mind you, a Habs game might bring out a healthy contingent of snow birds but certainly not enough to make up for the abhorrent attendance we've been seeing lately.

This is such a petty criticism that no other player in the league gets called out for. Virtually ever player says they are excited to play their old team.

It wouldn't be as glaring a comment if Drouin would actually be playing to the level of his talent more consistently. There is nothing "petty" about it. I'm not out to get Drouin. Get off your high horse.

The old saying about how you have to be good to be lucky.

There is absolutely something petty about criticizing a player for saying they are "pumped"

So far this season, Tampa Bay has 2 wins against Montreal: 4-1 and 6-5.

Highlights of last game against them in December

Thank you!

I wonder if he puts some money on the board.

my guess is that he plans to but when it comes down to it, he either forgets or getting up from his stall and walking all the way across the room is just " too much effort"

No, he's just right

Drouin not playing consistently to the level of his talent is something he shares with a lot of players, but none of them get criticized just for saying they are pumped to play against their old team
best seinfeld voice

" anybody can SAY that they are pumped to play against their old team, the hard part is actually playing hard against your old team. you are good at the saying, you are not so good at doing, which is the most important part. Anyone can SAY ( snapping fingers) they are pumped to play against their old team...."

and formally isnt his old team in the AHL ?

Habs have 10% chance of winning tonight. If they could get at least one point out of it, I would be more than happy, too.
