Lots of talk about the fourth line, Leks, Benn but this game is on the likes of Gallagher, Domi and Drouin who havent done one positive thing tonight

I'm all for taking Drouin off the point but Mete presents the exact same problems, the issue is we don't have any real solution. Too bad Mete can't shoot

We've never tried Mete, we don't actually know what he can do there.

One thing is for sure, Drouin is terrible. He has a terrible shot selection and will just get impatient when a shot isn't coming, like we just saw. It kills plays. Mete is much smarter in his approach and I can see him doing the Markov sneak.

Turris and Fiala are 2nd liners, too and having a guy like Josi on the back end changes things a lot.

Turris was absolute caca in the playoffs and Fiala isn't anything we don't already have. Now their defense is a completely different discussion.

No way Byron deserves 4th line when he surpases Lehks in almost everything.

I loved Deslauriers last season, but whatever leash he gained from having a great season last year needs to be yanked back. He’s done essentially nothing all year, he’s barely even playing noticeably physical. Too complacent.

Only one game, but Weise doesn’t appear to have the same wheels.

Played with a cage all year so I gave him a pass... nothing more since he doesnt have it.
