I was working the entire game, but listening.

It's amazing this time could have a net losing January and still lead the conference.

If we hadnt spent 5 years trading away our picks, we might have a couple better talents parked in the AHL to come up and better fill the need (eg not having to play D on their off hand)

Our D is fine - even with Tampa pressing they got 2 SOG in the third period and barely 20 for the game. Our shortcomings are in our depth if someone gets hurt and I'm still not sold on our fourth line.

Probably a pipe dream, but I was dreaming of Timo Meier with Eichel (if Stone is forced to retire by his back, either as an RFA next year, or perhaps this year, allowing Marchy to go back to the Misfit line. I suspect the competition for Meier is to stiff, unless he basically says he'll be a rental this year and sign with VGK as an RFA next year.
