Nice to see as a potential "No Chara" era club...FWIW.

The fact is at this point in his career, he is not a huge "difference maker". He can provide stability, but he's not doing anything for a better transition game or overall speed. Along with of course he simply isn't the defensive presence he once was.

I personally would like to move on from him and his contract ASAP. Sort of a "cut to the chase and move on" mentality I have with Zdeno Chara. It'd be nice to push the envelope more on really renewing this defense (along with shipping out one of McQ or Kevan...preferably Kevan)
