Tiebreakers - From NHL.com
1. The fewer number of games played (i.e., superior points percentage).
2. The greater number of games won, excluding games won in the shootout.
3. The greater number of points earned in games between the tied clubs. If two clubs are tied, and have not played an equal number of home games against each other, points earned in the first game played in the city that had the extra game shall not be included. If more than two clubs are tied, the higher percentage of available points earned in games among those clubs, and not including any "odd" games, shall be used to determine the standing.
4. The greater differential between goals for and against for the entire regular season.

This may be the first season ever where I've thought, "Hey, I wonder what the Coyotes are up to?"

Kari should be in for Dallas ... I think Heika tweeted that yesterday.

Mike Heika ‏@MikeHeika

Mike Smith off first for Coyotes, so he looks like starter against Stars. He is 7-1-5 in his career against Dallas with 1.95 and .926.

For the love of god .... please play Ellis tomorrow. Let him string some games together. You already have a daunting March to deal with ... you'll never get through it playing Kari every freaking night. Let Dan take a run at the Tank. He needs to play at least 3 or 4 games in March.

Do we really want Kari playing his 4th in 6 days against the Canucks on the 6th or 5th in 8 days against the Wild? I don't ... Ellis needs the opportunity to prove he can handle around 8 or 10 more games this year.

What? You think its a good idea to use a backup instead of riding your number one starter into the ground?

Feels odd, but it feels better than playing against the same Ducks/Kings/Sharks 8 times a season.

KConn is a scratch tonight? Why would you make changes to the lineup that shut out the best team in the league?
