Beaudin is on a 3-game point streak. He matched his exact production from last year with his assist on the OT winner last night. The difference between last year and this year? 40 games:

Last year with Rockford: 16 pts (2G, 14A) in 66 games
This year with Laval: 16 pts (2G, 14A) in 26 games

Now, he did play 3 games with Rockford before the trade, so he has 16 pts in 29 games on the season.

His next point would set a career high in pts in the AHL for him. His next goal will match his career high of 3 goals from his rookie season.

I believe they said he was joining the team on the 5th (tomorrow), so he shouldn't be available.

Yup. I heard Anthony Marcotte mention yesterday that there was a hiccup with the travel, so he wasn't going to make it in time for tonight's game. Their next game is on Wednesday, so he should be in for that one. And he will get some practices with the team first.

I remember when Habs had drafted Hillis, McShane, Fonstad & Houde in the 2018 draft, when it was time to sign them or relinquish their rights, wewere all saying that out of all of them, Hillis was the one who should be signed to an ELC.

After a few years, Hillis is having a hard time nailing down a regular spot in the AHL, playing mostly in the ECHL. Meanwhile, Fonstad and Houde are signed to AHL deals and are full time AHL'ers. McShane made his way to Europe and has been playing there since finishing his Junior career.

This isn't to say they should have signed some of the others instead of Hillis. Only to show that sometimes, how a player looks in Junior doesn't always pan out when they turn pro. That even if none of them are NHL'ers, it's clear that Fonstad and Houde are having more steady success than Hillis is.

What happened to Poulin? Did he come back for like, 1 game then get hurt again?

I'm very curious to see what the goaltending will look like next year. Is Dichow signed in Sweden for next year?

Who knew they had pucks labeled exclusively for warm-ups.

I hope Allard can play well in his own end. Laval can score like hell but they can't keep the puck out.

Average attendance this year. Cleveland at almost 9000???? Theyre crap! And Chicago is Carolina's farm team. In Chicago! Weird that they get such great support. And Belleville? Wow!

Yeah but Laval is missing the net on good opps. Making the wrong passes on the PP. Frustrating
25-8. Some shots are definitely getting through.
I'll bet they lose this one. I've seen this movie before.

I saw one play where Trudeau needs to shoot from the slot but instead he passes to Richard who is covered. Laval might have a big shot advantage but the goalie is seeing everything. Laval imo is not sharp.

Marcotte said on Twitter that Canadiens are likely to recall him tomorrow, as Guhle may not play. Allard is still in California.
During the broadcast, Leroux stated that the possibility still existed for Allard to be an emergency call-up for the Habs, all depending on whether Guhle can play tomorrow.

Allard being in California where the Habs are playing, fuels the speculation.
