He needs a legit coach and to start hitting people. You can’t be elite if you’re that size and you select games where you’ll hit somebody. You can’t be like that. This is the soft aspect of the club that won’t win.

Not if he struggles to become a solid pro defenseman given his limited playing time at the position. You are going to have to give to get, and one of the things the Rangers have to give is young defensive talent.
