Housley won't be fired this year, no big trades are coming. This is the team that will be iced the rest of the year sans a small trade or two at the deadline to help Rochester.

Always hated Saturday afternoon games. But I guess it's good for our Euro fans. We get spoiled with normal start times so I guess I can't complain.

Anyway, just get two points.

Hopefully Housley will be fired by then
If we lose today at home to a real bad Wings team and he isn't you know 100% there is no chance that is happening. We HAVE to win this game or we are starring at 6 points out in a league where making up ground is incredibly difficult.

I just don't have any faith in Housley and Botterill righting the ship.Housley looks like he is over his head and his lineups are head scratching to say the least.Botterill who knows what he is doing or thinking hopefully talking to Quinnville

I actually can't recall one game where Housley iced a line-up I was totally happy with. I'm sure a lot of combinations don't make a great big difference given the 7-8 players that should be replaced eventually, but even still Housley hasn't put everybody where they seem to be best all at the same time.

I’ll miss this one. Someone count the number of times the Sabres have clear possession and turn it over in the o-zone with all three forwards below the face off dots.

OP noted Sabres 4-1 in afternoon games this year. Wasn’t the last one the pathetic showing vs DAL on MLK day?

I'm going to surmise, for my own mental well being, that Dufus walking up quickly behind Yerdon meant that holding the door was the only way he could get in. I'm going to imagine Dufus standing there for hours, pretending to read a newspaper, waiting for anybody with creds to let him in.
Maybe he’s “been studying the game, thinking what he’d do in certain situations?”

Surprised Ullmark is in, but back2back they are both getting a start

Thompson back in the lineup in place of CJ Smith. This is what you would do if you were actively trying to make your team less competitive.

This organization is hopelessly inept. Edmonton East.

That sound you hear is the sound of Sabre fans opening up 2nd story windows.

At least the Oil win lotteries. Oh. Wait. Nevermind.
