Weather looks bad, hope they don't cancel.

They didn't cancel games last year because of road conditions. They canceled games because the Texas power grid was overwhelmed and failing. The conditions today are not the same. The game that would likely be in danger would be tomorrow if Dallas wasn't able to fly out tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest.

There have been several games played with bad road conditions in Dallas. They'll just typically have very low attendance, but the game is rarely ever canceled.

Tomorrow Nashville is retiring Rinne's number. Just looking at the weather, it seems like it actually will be worse tomorrow morning. Hopefully, the random early start time gives Dallas a better chance of getting out tonight.

Wow, that's a quick number retirement. I forgot he had retired, honestly.

If they have the players and refs at the rink, they almost have to go. There isn't much room left in the schedule for moving games around.

Yeah, I was surprised there was any concern whatsoever the game wasn't happening. Dallas has played games with worse weather conditions even when you don't consider the already condensed schedule.

I'm sure they'll do everything possible to play tomorrow as well even if the team is flying in that afternoon.

I am so sick of hearing how good of goaltending we're getting.
I'm glad we have him, but if we can't score, it doesn't matter.

Let's win or tank as best as we can already.
Let's not end up the first team outside of a WC spot.

And it would be great not to have to rely on one line to score.

If only there was a way to help that one line issue out? Hmmm? All I can think of is Laine.

I'm kind of surprised Bones hasnt tried switching Gurianov and Pavlski to see if you can get two lines going instead of just having 1 super line.

Wouldn't mess with that top line at all unless they completely stopped generating chances. Also wouldn't like how slow Pavelski's linemates them become

But, if we were to do some swapping cause that line for some reason started struggling, I wouldn't mind seeing Peterson with Pavelski or Peterson with Hintz and Robertson

What was the dump in by Pavelski? Did it slip off his stick?

Wow, we've actually had some really good possession and zone time and most of this season has been tough to watch, so it's nice to see the other side of things

Do the Jets play defense at all

Stars just waltzing into the O zone untouched until that Lindell trip

Also an interesting strategy to give the Stars dmen a bunch of freedom at the point
