Let's take a look at that famous Penguins winger, Drew "The Kid" O'Connor

DOC, as he's also known, is an undrafted 4th year pro out of Dartmouth. Lovely campus by the way in Hanover New Hampshire if you ever get a chance to visit.

Boasting PPG totals in the AHL, DOC is attempting to establish himself on the Pens' 3rd line. He dabbles a bit in penalty killing, but will be mainly be looked to bring a combination of speed and size to Pittsburgh's forecheck.

One of the few value contracts under a million on Pittsburgh's ledger, DOC is signed for this season and the next at $925k.
