Well they have a scouting department now. Something Tippett and even Don Maloney screamed for for years. Finally got an owner that recognized it and gave them the budget.

I'm still wondering what Kerfoot's role is. I know he's a fine player but where does he fit in? Is he grinding corners? Making plays? Going to the net? Seems like I'm waiting for him still.

He needs more ToI. And he gets that in the AHL.
I would bet my ample posterior that he will be called up sometime during the season. But not now.

Exactly. Dostal is getting out of poosition a lot when blocking those shots.
We need to capitalize on that.

He's better for sure, but it's about proper development. He needs top line minutes while he puts on some weight.
