Very good win, love seeing the narrative flip. Absolutely had to have this.

Klingberg strutting like a boss down the tunnel.

Apparently the post game show started for the Winnipeg announcers after the second Klingberg goal, they've stopped calling play by play.

Stars win so it seems unlikely Ruff will change the lineup at all. Which is great because schlemko and benn are totally awesome.
Schlemko seems like a straight downgrade from Connauton to me. Really don't get that sequence of events.

MTS Centre was mighty empty at the end of the third.. not many real fans in Winnipeg.

well that game serves as payback for the one they stole from us in January. Let's just forget the details and celebrate the 2 points.

A win against Colorado and we're back on track.

He's a straight downgrade to Jokipakka too. He needs to be waived, Joki brought back up, and Jordie made the legit rarely playing #7 D.

Joki, Oleksiak, Benn, and Schlemko are all about even in terms of current ability. Some better at certain areas than others.

The thing is Joki and Oleksiak have potential to get better in the NHL.

Benn and Schlemko are never going to get better.

Klingberg is the highest scoring rookie d-man in Stars history. I love Klingberg, but it tells you how much the Stars have struggled to draft and develop d-men.

He has the most goals of any rookie d-man since the move to Dallas, but Niskanen still has more points — 26 in 2007-08.

I really don't think they're even equal in current ability at this point. I think Oleksiak and Joki are close with Oleksiak having the edge due to size and pk ability (although it could be countered that Joki has better hockey IQ). Plus Oleksiak was a badass for a couple of games where he played like our 2nd best defender, promptly earning him healthy scratches for hitting pple.

Benn and Schemp are about equal for worst player on the team with me rating Benn as slightly better because he is good for giving me a laugh or 2 most games. Plus, my wife thinks I'm a hockey nostradomis because every time Benn gets pressured with the puck in his own zone I predict an icing and he never lets me down. Therefore, clearly he gets the edge over that new stooge.

Is amazing how much whining about the officiating is going on... The Jets don't play a disciplined game, if they are going to take that many penalties they better be playing a great PK.

When your team sucks and you've never won a playoff game in franchise history you need to blame someone.
