Jesus Christ poehling draws JK and Cousins. It’s like like going to the movies and deciding which one is going to suck the least for your 10$.

FFS can we remove Danault from the default 1C position? Can we keep him away from Kovalchuk? It’s obvious he can’t keep up with Kovy’s hockey IQ, it’s painful to watch.

Wanna make sure Kovalchuk doesn’t produce and isn’t worth much at the deadline? Play him with Danault.

Yeah sure. Tatar and Gallagher are producing their career best numbers since they play with Danault, but for some reasons Kovy would be slowed down by him...? Funny because many people also say that Kovy is playing his best hockey of the season since he plays in Montreal... on Danault's line.

Kane is going to have a field day against that defense. But the Hawks as a whole are not a good team.

Danault can’t make Tatar produce without Gallagher on the line, and Gallagher can produce with ANYONE because he creates offense.

Are you blind? Danault is lost with Kovalchuk, he doesn’t have the IQ or skill to keep up with him offensively. Kovalchuk belongs with Suzuki and it’s obvious.

Danault doesn’t make anyone better, he’s a point leacher who has to leach off of a play driving winger (Gally, Radulov). He’s unable to make a non play driving winger produce offensively.

Without Gallagher Danault is a total dud. “suppression specialist” that’s it.

Oh, Brière. If only you played with us in 2007-08 instead of Philly... that was a good year, Kovalev was on fire.

Also, a goalie who tweets? Don't we have one or something?

These guys are pretty low in the standings and Lehner's going "Solid win :)", supporting the theory that no player out there actually wants to lose.

I thought Debrincat was the big One That Got Away thanks to the first Shaw trade, at least according to this forum? 3rd liner now??

Is he playing crocked or has he been figured out by the league?

Pretty easy to see, but there are some who just can't admit it. Don't get me wrong, love Phil but he never drives his line, and should be a 3rd line guy on pretty much every team.

Exactly he doesn’t drive his line OR create any offense! Enough already, it’s been years of this crap, now we finally have 2 gifted top 6 centers and they will have to stagnate behind Danault for how many years?

That Hawks lineup is PITIFUL

it’s as though all their top prospects play for them and the roster looks old.....like who are these players playing with Toews, or with Kane lol

Still got some star attractions when they are in the mood. I refused offers to about 6 games these last two seasons. I'm going to this one.

Nice thing about Danault is that he can make talented players produce. Like you said, 3rd line is his home, but with an injury to your top 2 C, he can easily replace the injured player short and long term.

Lindgren confirmed the starter.

Also, Kotkaniemi was out for 10 minutes on his own working on his shot during the optional skate:

This is where he was on the powerplay last game correct? Working on getting his shot off quicker from that area perhaps. Muscle memory
