Should be interesting...

If we give up the same amount of shots that Bob faced the first time down there we could be in a for beatdown.

Florida has impressed me so far this season - a lot of nice young talent. However, they've won a lot of close games, and things have started to even out for them as of late. I think the Jackets get a W tonight, 3-1, and the third goal is an empty netter (it will come after several ill-advised icings from Dubi and JJ make the Jackets sweat it out more than necessary).

I really hope Murray is able to come back tonight and play a comfortable game.

When is the last time he was on the ice and was 100%?

That's terrific news! :)

Getting Arty back, and hopefully Boone as well sometime soon will be huge, and that's an understatement. As it stands currently, the Forward lines are absolutely pathetic, laughable and not even close to NHL caliber ( excluding the 1st line, obviously ).

When ( if ever ) healthy, I'd like to see something like:

Foligno-Johansen-Atkinson
Jenner-Dubinsky-Hartnell
Calvert-Anisimov-Morin
Tropp-Letestu-Skille

Thoughts?

How much longer is Jenner out? Seems like its been forever now since he went down with the back injury. (In reality, maybe just over a month?)

Jenner has been out for nearly 7 weeks. Was expected to miss 1-2 months.

The injury situation this season has just been weird. Some guys have returned way sooner than expected, and others have been out for a million years.
So yeah, unless there's a confirmation on a return date for Jenner, your guess is as good as mine at this point.

My take on the injury situation:

Russian guys=premature return date from injury
North American guys= Take twice as long to return from injury :(

I mean this in the nicest way possible...I never saw anything special in Jack Skille.

:dunno:

Outside of a few nice snipes, this is true...but Tropp has a Boll-level Corsi for the season. It's disgusting.

I don't get what Anderson did to play himself off of Dubi's line. Keep it together, and play Arty with Wennberg and Calvert. Who knows...

Well, if you watch enough CBJ games ( especially his first dozen or so games last season, and the 1st game this season against Buffalo ) it won't take long to see he's got one hell of a shot. Behind Johansen, Skille probably has the 2nd best shot release on the the team. He just doesn't shoot the puck as often as he should ( or actually get the opportunity to, considering his ice time ).

There's no way he should not be in the lineup, especially considering who we have in right now. It's puzzling, and actually kinda hilarious in a way. Like some sort of sick joke.
