i dont usually care about officisting.
but looked like canes couldve done anything on that pk and got away with it.
they were on the ropes.

At the game they actually showed two blatant infractions that should have given the B’s a 5 on 3 late in the third.

I‘m a homer, granted.

I find the officials in general to be lousy, granted.

But those missed calls were bad enough that if the Bruins committed them, I’d have no credibility as a human being if I said they shouldn’t have been called.

They struggle against fast skating forecheck teams. It's just that simple. Been the same for several years, it bit us in the playoffs last year and it will get us again this year if this team is the same. We just don't hold up to that style..

Good third period response and maybe getting to OT would have been a fair result but really too little too late.

Disappointing. I thought we were maybe on to something last few games but now I think it's going to end the same. Good regular season. Dominant against slow teams, better than most defensive teams, hanging by a thread against speedy forecheckers. Early playoff exit unless we get the favorable match up that suits our style.

I’d be a little more annoyed with the officiating if the Bruins pp showed any signs of life. They had their opportunities. Just not a good enough effort tonight. Regroup and wreck Ottawa tomorrow.
