Jets have not been looking good over the last few games. Against much weaker opponents than this. The next 3 games will tell us a lot about this team, including whether we could still see them significantly regress from here on in. I admit it - still not completely over their collapse from last year.

I’m expecting a Boston win. Especially with Scheifele out.

I admit it - still not completely over their collapse from last year.

I’m expecting a Boston win. Especially with Scheifele out.

Not me, this is a different team from last season and we moved out a guy with no heart for 3 guys that play hard pretty much every game.

Outstanding work as always macmaroon, and glad to see that Plane Jane is brining it early.

I'll be at the game tonight, looking forward to it. And I like the Jets chances, they have the type of relentless pressure that can stymie the Bruins in their own end. Lost in the Bruins third-period outburst against the Habs was that the B's were a disaster in clearing the puck out of the zone.

That was actually spot on writing for a Cheers scene.

And nice bit of obscure Jets trivia, Eddie LeBec DID play for the Jets! Carla rattled off the teams he had previously played for when they introduced him and sure enough one was the Winnipeg Jets. I remember watching the episode when it aired, that was exciting and made me think the Jets must be important haha. Oh, to be 12 and naive again.

Agreed. Boston has been on an upward trajectory of late, and weve been going the opposite way.

Hope the Jets can generate more offense tonight. While Scheif is out I think Vilardi should be the 1C with Connor and Ehlers. Id move Nieder to 2nd line where Ehlers was. I like Lowry and all he does but he isn't a 1C. Especially when they have him on PP1 and PK1.
