I get that it's unlucky because they would have scored, but Hutton didn't cause Staal to go into the net and the net was off before Cousins touched the puck.
They wanted to call it a goal and took so long finding any reason they could halfway justify it.

So, Hill made 38 saves on 39 shots but 2 goals went in.
So does he officially have a .974 sv% for the game, but 2GA for the game?
ESPN lists it as 38/39, 1GA.

Go by NHL.com for the most accurate stats, but even they have only 39 shots, & 1GA. I wonder if the reason is because one of the goals going in after the net came loose?
You'd imagine it should be 38/40, 2GA.
