If we win we can cut the deficit with them to 13 with 3 games in hand.

Who says I lean to the dark side?

Point, counter point, although I think you are writing tongue in cheek.

I deal with reality, and the reality is that the CBJ are out of the play-off picture. Done, dead in the water, finished, kaput, the fat lady sang, forget about it, time to move on, etc.

Quit slobbering over "games in hand", because quite frankly, the CBJ won't win all of those games, if they even win any.

I agree with neutral parties, that the CBJ need to embrace their fate and play for the draft. I don't mean tank, but what I do mean is don't rush injured players back. Give them lot's of time to heal and be ready for next season. Give young players a look. See what trades can be made at the deadline that would help the team next season. Evaluate everything.

As far as tonights game goes, I don't expect much. Yea, maybe they pull off an improbable win, but I find myself not caring at this point.

I don't feel that I am being pessimistic, but rather, realistic.

Just throwing this out there, I literally have zero hope in this team for the rest of the season unless they go on a streak where they win 15 games...... IN A ROW. So done. But, will I watch the game? Of course.

Welcome back SL.

I think it's funny we all were just talking about Pastrnak. He was high on SL's list, and JacketsFanWest and a number of other posters were high on him. He was definitely my pick at our spot:

Solely based off of scouting reports and very little video, I think Pastrnak has lots of upside, so I put my vote with him. Definitely boom or bust but I think that's where we should look given how deep our prospect pool is.

PM me Jarmo, I'll work for free.

Hi everyone, B's fan here. Is Prout expected to be in the lineup or scratched tonight?

haha good one, figured that would be a Prout excuse :P

Would love to see round 4 tonight.

Well... considering our HC likes to base the lineup off of players' last performance, then all indications would say no... Prout won't play. If I had to guess, I'd honestly go out on a limb and say tonight is the night that Leopold plays... it'd be his first game played with CBJ since December 13th.
