I think ideally I'd like the team to be able to simply kill games where they have a multiple goal lead. I mean occasionally that's not gonna happen but as a rule of thumb you should be able to quietly work those games to a closure.

In a perfect world that'd be the case. At the same time we've had issues closing out games for years. Luckily we've least been starting on time for the most part lately.

Yeah Devils are a good defensive team. Plus they have top 5 goalie (maybe 3rd best goalie in the league?).
