Good job by Paquette to draw the penalty.

But that breakaway was Gallagher-esque. Start off with a straight line and the guy catches up to you so you are forced to take it to the corner.

Why can't Ylonen or Gignac get those chances?

Ylonen one timer...I can sense it

Dumont is pure punk but he is legit in the face off circle

Laval a step behind the entire period

Not a bad period by Laval. But Syracuse was the better team in the 1st.

Laval picked it up a little towards the end.

Had at least one of the shots that hit the post went in, it would be a different story.

They also need to really test the goalie.

Lagace still out. And Dumont pushed Belzile on top of him. I though it was Dea.

Either way, dumb move by Dumont and Laval needs to capitalize, because Lagace has been amazing for Syracuse these playoffs so far.

Crunch are simply first on the puck.

Laval simply get hemmed in their own zone. They get the puck out of the zone. Go for a change and then the new line gets hemmed in their zone.

And defensively, Norlinder is not having a good game. And the Crunch seem to be taking advantage when he's out there.

Gignac headed to the box.

Schnarr headed to the back. He left the ice a hunched over. I missed what happened.

Oh Paquette, if you scored that, it would have been a highlight reel goal.

That is a great PK so far. Laval got the better chances.

Geoff Molson in the house.

And Luguentz Dort in his box. For those who might now know him, he's a Montreal native playing in the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder.
