A very bad night when you can outshoot your opponent by 20+ shots and still lose as badly as this.

The team as a whole player better than the score suggests, but Andersen (and a few skaters) had really bad games tonight.

No penalty to NJ there as we lost a breakaway because 3 players were holding Martin offside.

schneider and our bad defense why we are losing---I think babcock is going to bag skate them after this, that or Lou better be close on a trade we cant continue like this defensively surprised it took this long happened against NY we won, and even against CHI--though that game we were so dominant offensively it was less of an issue

Rosen probably need more time in the AHL...he's been a couple of steps behind this entire game.

Overall, the offense did their job for the most part, but our D was terrible, and Andersen didn't bail us out.

Gotta swap Rosen back out for Carrick, he was in over his head most of the night. Borgman looked fantastic though.

Yes but they've also been great chances on breakdowns by us. It's not all goalie, some lines are lacking attention to defense. Team defense.

NHL goalies have to make those saves sometimes.

Think of all the breakdowns NJ has had today. Their goalie just makes saves...

When it really comes down to it, tonight is just one case of one goalie otuplaying another. And Gards/Rosen having awful nights.
