that was one thing with Babcock, is all the high picks reached their potential and a bunch of other guys transitioned successfully. Maybe there is other factors but that fell off big time with Keefe.

Only strange in the sense that I'm not sure what the purpose of starting Ullmark in game 2 was. I can guarantee they won't go Swayman the rest of this series. Ullmark will be in for game 5 as Monty won't abandon his rotation.

He said the bottom pairing was the only pair not going, so he likely doesn't mess with the top 2 pairs.

He's also done a ton of things people said he wouldn't do:

Moving Marner from Matthews
Bertuzzi on PP1
Sitting Brodie

And I am sure there is more.

I don't think he is as stubborn as people think.
