It was against OEL officially. Didn't see much about what OEL said on the broadcast as it was focused on Tip.

Well at least they were a little more fun to watch tonight. There will probably be a scratch and minutes reduced for the bit of offensive creativity they flashed though.

Good result in the final equation, we get a:

(1) Smitty Meltdown
(2) Near Hanzal hat trick (2 penalties and an early exit due to injury)
(3) Extended stretches without a shot

The tank is intact.

Keep calm and Tippet on.

Looking forward to Dvo earning 11 minutes tonight, after scoring a goal.

Lowest among forwards except Josh Jooris who had 14 seconds fewer... no PP time

13 is a very bad hockey player and probably shouldn't be on the roster at all. 86 isn't too bad, he fits on the 4th line. 19 is a very bad hockey player and probably should be no where besides our 4th line. 18 should without a doubt be our 3rd line center, mistakes and all, he's just a far better player than 13 and 86, and his hockey sense is way better than nook's.

Nook has the offensive awareness of a potato. He had so many open guys that he never even knew were open because he just doesn't know better. Early in the game he dumped the puck when he was going in with speed on two defenders, both converged on him and he had a trailer coming on his wing... if he just floats that puck to the empty ice, that winger is going to get a prime chance. He missed Duke a couple times as well, just wide open, but not right in front of him.

He should go back to the wing where the puck isn't on his stick as much.

Crouse needs to play more. He's too good not to be getting more play time.

We had so many self inflicted errors in this game.

Our defense and especially number 2 are horrible at passing the puck. I like number 2, but he had a very rough game today.

We need a new coach and leadership in general.

Murphy made more mistakes than any D man last night, even more than OEL who has played really poorly lately. With OEL's play, we have zero first line forwards and zero top pairing D. Hanzal/Verby/nobody is our second line. Our third line is missing a C.

Let's assume OEL plays better, like a top pairing D. We are then only missing a 1RHD, an entire first line, and a 2W. The phrase 6-4-1 in hockey is your top 2 lines, top 4 D, and goalie. You need to have a solid 11 players in this group to win. We have OEL/Gogo/Hanzal/Verby/Smith, and Domi when he comes back. We are missing 5 players needed to fill those positions.

You're not missing them, well we are missing a top RHD, but Dvorak is a player who is getting 'zero' time, Duclair is got Tippetitus, we've got enough quality players to win in this league. We're not going to win playing Tippett hockey. Wrong players, wrong system.

That's up from the 9:20 he had against Calgary, when he was 1-1-2 and a +2, as he was last night.

Just think, if Richardson was healthy, he'd still be not good enough to even play in the NHL. Especially with all our all star acquisitions like Holland and Jooris.
