Would be nice to have a statement game as the Leafs are highly likely to be the opponent for Montreal if they make playoffs.

Nah, you're jumping the gun a bit.

Habs win with KK looking fine on wing.. bunch of people pound their chests, stroke it out in front of everyone.. and then we go on a long losing streak right after.

For me, even if Habs lose, if they make the Leafs earn every inch and make life difficult for them, I'll be satisfied. Because we know come playoff time, the game changes and that could be more beneficial to Montreal.

Habs lines and pairings from yesterday’s practise:

Tatar - Danault - Kotkaniemi
Drouin - Staal - Toffoli
Perry - Suzuki - Anderson
Byron - Evans - Lehkonen
Frolik

Edmundson - Weber
Kulak - Petry
Romanov - Mete
Leskinen

Allen
Lindgren
Primeau

Switch KK with Suz and its perfect!

Can you imagine how scary would be Perry/Kk/Anderson for the opponent!

I'd give it a try! And I believe Suz is a better fit with Danault and Tatar imo

I'm no doctor but my guess is :
- No surgery : might come back in time for the playoffs
- Surgery : might miss the whole playoffs

Robert Thomas just missed almost 2 months with a broken thumb.

Ben Chiarot had surgery with a fractured hand with a timeline of 6-8 weeks.

Gallagher with surgery at most likely misses 8 weeks. Since no surgery is required he could be back in 2-3 weeks.

Gallagher is definitely the type of dude for better or worse to say no to surgery if he thinks it would help the team. We shall see. If it's borderline like he can still play without the surgery but it might not heal 100% proper I fully expect him to take that deal

He's been put on LTIR. Out rest of regular season.
