Pretty much my thoughts as well, good game from pretty everyone except Rantanen and RyJo.
I don't know what the hell needs to be said to 96 at this point, he's making awful decisions and doesn't seem to give a shit. Not a great combo. Makes infinitely too much money to play this trashy consistently.

He didn't show up on the score sheet tonight, but Drouin is really fitting in here nicely. Playing physical, skating hard on the backcheck, making great passes.
Did anyone do a double take when they saw Kerfoot on the box score? I was checking twitter for when Montreal had traded him. Then realization set in that Newhook isn't actually Kerfoot.

Start to finish the Avs were the better team tonight. Well deserved win. Feel bad for Georgiev, you know a shutout goes a long way towards fixing a goalie's confidence issues.

No matter that loser Tatar is doing now, he wasn’t nearly as close as Drouin to fitting our system. Dru has seriously put in the work
Ryjo made some great defensive plays and starting laying the body. I liked his game to be honest. Just wish he knew that we need him full speed 24/7 or he will never make the second line role

I mean Compher and Kerfoot were ages ago right lol?
They have their moments, if Ryjo can be more physical and be better defensively he might be valuable at that point, but he will hafta fkn go in the off season.

I’d be the best GM in NHL history. I’d get the mob involved. Yous guy Handover Lindy eh, that gutless punk gonna leave you, betray you, fat tony, I take his word like he’s my family. But I can give exactly what you need. Ryjo, what a nickname. You can open a casino with that name.
Also is the slowest f***ing dude in the league who skates hard for 3 strides at a time and if doesn't get him to where he wants to get he gives up. Did it at least 3 different times tonight it didn't cost us anything this time but it will. Seriously had 1 controller disconnected moment that made me want to huck the remote at the TV because it allowed a 3 on 2 the other way. All he had to do was put in the slightest effort and it would have been nothing, but he took 2 strides and then just started to glide. Luckily George made a nice save.
He's simply not a good hockey player anymore and his effort sucks. I'd honestly be totally fine playing MacDermid 3 mins a night, we'd probably be better off.
