Well he backed away from that so basically he pissed away training camp and the first 5 or 6 weeks of the season on a system that was never likely to work in the NHL. So now he is trying to teach them a new one. It's going quite well as you can see.

But the biggest issue is they are butter sitting out on the counter on a hot summer day soft up front, have no reliable veterans to take the pressure off of kids not yet ready to carry the load, the blueline is hilariously bad most games and the goaltending isn't the superstar level they would need. Lowe, Tambellini and MacT have managed to build one hell of a mess.
