Funny - hockey-wise it felt like such a long break but work-wise it felt so short

I mean its been 3 days . Stars had 3 days off just 2 weeks ago as well as 2 times in November . In October they even had a 4 day break AND a 3 day break. So 3 days of no Stars hockey has been a somewhat regular occurance this season .

Once 2024 starts the season really gets going.

Usually I watch games in between Stars games, that's probably why it felt longer

I wonder if players are trying to get around this CBA no practise thing over these 3 days by doing their pick up games and calling them family exhibitions lol.

Saw pavelski and Benn both had a skate with friends and family. Maybe their way to keep the legs light

Not Joel's fault Lundkvist is struggling to take the next step.

You need a hug?

How do you take a step when you get scratched all the time? Nils is far from perfect, but so is Hanley, Harley, and Suter. So why not pop the kid back into the lineup occasionally to get some looks?

I know what your saying and I'd rather see Nils in the lineup, but obviously the ones who make that choice don't like what they see.

Maybe they feel these 6 tonight match up best against STL. Either way, no need to wish an injury on someone, even more so on your favorite team lol

Not being super serious, more so said it because that seems like the only way we will get Nils back now as the coaching staff refuses to go 50/50.

It's pretty crazy you gotta pay Sportsnet $200+ to not get a choice of home/away, broken audio, and then you go and watch free 360p pirated streams. There has to be a better way.

How is that a penalty lol
