Another validity check. Didn't beat these guys last year and they are playing a lot better than people expected so far this season. Add in Carter Hart seems to have our number, going to be a tough one to get.

Shoot... got to have this one.

Red Wings need to stick a tough win here so they can maintain the seperation they have/had with/from teams like the Flyers. Flyers might even be ahead or tied now.

Flyers have been playing good hockey recently. Wings will need to really bring it, especially early.

So we've split Kane and Dcat finally. Glad to see Compher back and Kostin. Ras gets rewarded too.

I'd like to see Kane play with Sprong at least once. I know they both typically play right wing, despite the fact that one shoots left and one shoots right-handed, but one of them could adjust to left wing.

Got some chili cooking on the stove, gonna crack into a barley pop soon, excited for another Wings game. Happy to hear Compher looks to be in, that forward lineup looks much better with him in it. LGW!

watching the pre-game on ESPN+ -- it's a retrospective on Dylan Larkin's childhood, draft, and first couple of years in Detroit. And the ads are bizarre. Anyone else seeing these?

Yeah I was getting mostly the standard ESPN ads, but sometimes they'd let part of the local ads play, and yes they were weird.

Also the audio was terrible for that little documentary, but seems to be ok now.
