just a total schooling. it is remarkable how badly the canucks match up against a not particularly good team having a solid game. the size of their defence is part of it, but it's also that we cannot contain their smaller forwards. it is like they happen to be built to magnify our weaknesses.

a good indication of how far the canucks have to go.

How many blowouts does it take for Green to get fired? This is unacceptable

It would be easy to agree with your sweeping blanket statement with no context... but the team has played well the last few games. And without their #1 centre too.

Not only is the habs system the opposite of the canucks, they are built completely different, no high end talent, but balanced solid 4 lines with no garbage, and tons of depth.

Agree
Also barely noticed because of how bad we have been overall, but why was Hoglander buried down the lineup all game?
because he brought his figure skates instead of hockey skates?

Green is such a F'n bad coach

can't coach 5v5
puts every line in the Vita-mix thinking that actually does something.

I don't mind that but atleast stick with them for more then 2 shifts. He throws them into the blender and if they don't immediately succeed he reverts back

Drouin was supposed to be a star
Weber was once the best defenseman in the league
Price once the premier goalie
Kotkanienmi is shaping up nicely
Suzuki looks legit
Gallagher, Toffoli, Petry, Anderson

yay they are legit

Green is so bad. If the Canucks were as aggressive as they are at pinching in the offensive. And channeled that aggression to defending the blue line. They would be much better defensively.

Yet the idiot still insists on playing an AHLer like Michaelis, stapling him on the top 6 spot while pushing down a skilled rookie like Hoglander on the third line even in late stretches of the game. It boggles the mind. Its like he is clearly screaming that he wants to get fired.

Hawryluk looks like a serviceable player. Would have been nice to get a look at him earlier, good thing that Motte decided to throw a cheap shot during a meaningless scrimmage
